Welcome to Joseph Victors personal website on Metallica, the Worlds greatest Rock and Heavy Metal band. I was first introduced to Metallica when I heard their song "Enter Sandman" sometime in 1996. After hearing that song.... I decided to give them a try and bought my first Metallica album titled "Metallica-The Black Album". I was simply fascinated by their music and lyrics. The songs that I liked on the album were "Enter Sandman", "Nothing Else Matters", "The Unforgiven", "Holier Than Thou", "Wherever I May Roam" and " "My Friend Of Misery". Here was one Heavy metal group who wrote meanigful lyrics which covered topics like war, famine, death, rebellion, freedom, fiction, love etc. Some songs have been inspired by real-life incidents in the lives of the group members, which have made the lyrics very hard-hitting. For E.g The Song "The God That Failed" is a very personal song written by James. The song was inspired by the death of James’ mother's at the hands of cancer. Due to her staunch Christian Science beliefs, she felt unable to accept any modern day medical care and relied solely on her faith in God to heal her.
That was the beginning of another addition of a die-hard Metallica fan to the already endless list of Metallica fans. So, I went ahead and bought all the Metallica albums that I could find in the music stores.
Finally, here I am... with my personal website on Metallica, to spread my word about them and their music. Here you will find everything that I could find on Metallica - how they began, their journey to the present, the group members, the albums and their music. I would appreciate your comments and suggestions on this site.
